The following video posted by Uday Bhatia the author of "Bullets Over Bombay" whose French translation is included in the set is a representative of the quality of the set.
https://x.com/yooday/status/1802955658540581145 Information about the set is already posted by other members in the Overseas Bollywood Blu-Rays forum. Will post the screenshots soon. |

It's in Hindi while the menu shows it as Telugu.

Thanks for the Disc information. I have ordered the set last week and waiting for delivery to US.
I was hoping for telugu audio for Shiva, got excited to see it in Disc info for a moment. Since Shiva is remade in Hindi not a dub, I am okay with Hindi version. They should have atleast rematered the audo tracks for all these to 5.1 |

I’m aware of that. First, I thought that was the reason for discrepancy in running times. When I checked the other BRs, they are almost of the same length as their DVDs. Shiva (BD 162/DVD 162), Company (148/149) & Sarkar (119/123). Actually, Sarkar has a significant difference of 4 minutes also. Remuxing short length videos is not hard. The software I use has a feature “Stretching a chapter”. You stretch the shorter video to match the longer one. Then extract the audio from one to remux it with the other one. Just finished remuxing Satya’s song “Kudi Sapne Mein Milti Hai”. DVD run was 304 secs and Blu-ray’s 292. Since Blu-rays are not encoded in NTSC, Pal etc, the difference must be due to fps rates. Will do one more song for now and that’s it. It’s still time consuming.
Why can't we get properly remastered BRs? Even the international companies can't make good Blu-rays for Bollywood movies. This one is missing 5.1 audio, and Kill had burnt-in subtitles and so on. Last edited by rajkapoor; 09-30-2024 at 12:58 AM. |

Also while the video quality is good it seems like they added fake grain and it’s not natural layer of film grain. Let me know if anyone else also feels the same. Otherwise this is the best we are ever going to get. |

Unfortunately yes all the movies have a stereo sound. Actually Satya should’ve had a 5.1 as well, as it was mastered in 5.1. Looks like they took just took the masters made for tv broadcast and put it on bluray. That also explains why they are in 25fps and not in 24fps.
