When John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) was a little boy, he made a wish that Ted (Seth MacFarlane), his beloved teddy bear, would come alive. Thirty years later, foul-mouthed Ted is still John's constant companion, much to the chagrin of Lori (Mila Kunis), John's girlfriend. Though Lori's displeasure is exacerbated by the pair's constant consumption of beer and weed, she's not the one who's most disappointed with John; it may take the intervention of John's boyhood toy to help him grow up at last.

They've been releasing Universal titles for a while. Not all coming are from them though. The Gift is from Paramount for example.

This is a unexpected surprise. I never EVER thought Ted would release in 4K but at the same time as a big fan of Seth's movies, I'm very happy. Just hoping Ted 2 and Million Ways To Die also come. I'm most definitely getting it.

I might double dip provided anything new is added and if the Target bonus disc extras are included (same for Ted 2 if that ever happens). Just for curiosity sake, here's what the Target disc includes:

-Beantown Bearings

And also a talking beer opener.


Incidentally, I LOVE Seth MacFarlane's (and Matt Groening's) work. The Orville truly is his best opus yet.

I got that edition and the only annoyance was that it didn't come with a slipcover. But, I bought a regular edition and returned it later unopened without the slip. So, problem solved.

Unless otherwise, they'll most likely be add to this. Especially if it's a collector's edition.

I hope that this 4K Edition is worth it, I absolutely love these Movies / TV Show. Shout! always does a great job with 2K Upscales with good HDR / DV Passes, just wish we got more details on this release
