I found it so dull which made the viewing experience feel much longer that it is. It does have it's admirers and I think if it looks interesting/good to you you should see it.

I watched it yesterday and really liked it.

It's not an easy watch as there's not an immediate in really to the character but once the film opened up a bit I was totally with Ronan's character. A couple of cardboard cut out characters but otherwise very nicely done by Nora Fingscheidt.

I have the Germany Blu-ray coming of Fingscheidt's System Crasher (Systemsprenger) so looking forward to seeing it. English subtitles listed.

Fingscheidt's The Unforgivable looks very interesting and it's stuck in the hell that is streaming and bootlegs.

One of my favourites of 2024, a beautiful film, with maybe just a slightly cheesy bit or two, but it feels earned. Especially potent if you've ever struggled with an addiction of any sort. Ronan is wonderful in it as well.

Does anyone else have an issue with the 'back' button being restricted on this disc? Going into the Scene Selection or Special Features menu I can't back out, I just get the 'This operation is prohibited by this disc', which necessitates turning my Panasonic UB820 off and on again if I want to go back to the main menu.

I enjoyed the film though.

Yup, tested on my Sony X800M2 (return/back button/top menu) and Panasonic DMP-UB300EB they give the same results.

Disc is locked B for those interested.

Well, there I was thinking that someone had made a film based on one of my favourite games. Bit of a disappointment on that regard.

Saying that, this film doesn't look too bad.
