Default Grain? Mystery Solved.
So I was watching an up-scaled Brotherhood of the Wolf on DVD last night and guess what I saw in less detail than BD?

GRAIN! Yes it does exist period. Final conclusion is that DVD will not show it as clearly as BD can. Grain is not a by-product of Blu-ray. It is what the master print is delivering to your movie viewing format. Mystery solved.

I will now begin working on multiple movie formats longest and most perplexing anomaly known to HD Man (and woman). Those mysterious and annoying Black bars. I'll keep you posted on my progress as discoveries are made and hypothesis annihilated. Wish me luck on this one...
