What is your favorite/most useful PS3 accessory so far - Blu-ray Forum

What do you like the best?

Headset? Keyboard? Wireless charging station? I just exchanged my Sony 300 for a PS3 and was curious what you all found the most useful.

Also, is there an easy way of adding more USB ports to the 40gb version? I know I'm gonna need them...

Definitely the remote.... Makes it easy for me to watch my Blu-rays and I can use it to scroll through the music and videos on my Mac with MediaLink.

Not much in official accessories for the PS3 because some are built in (like wi-fi) and some are generic (like the 2.5 inch SATA hdd or bluetooth headsets), but I would have to say the BD remote because it allows me not to degrade the dualshock's batteries when watching a movie or streaming media.

I have to go with the remote too, it is great for watching movies, much easier then the controller.

Also, as far as adding USB ports... I have read that you should be able to use a USB hub just make sure that it is an independently powered hub not one that draws power from the PS3.

EDIT: Since there is a stand for the PS3 that also has a USB hub and there is a rock band usb hub I don't see why any standard self powered hub would not work.

the remote is hands down the best ive bought so far. bluetooth remotes are glorious...

I believe you are talking about the Toshiba limited edition cup holders. The PS3 does not offer this antiquated feature, although I think they have a slot that is supposed to act as a toaster.
