I don't know how you make Game of Thrones a movie. There are so many characters. Even GRRM said, during the early days of the show, that he would turn down movie offers to adapt GOT because there are so many characters and plot lines.

If they do actually make this, though, I wouldn't be surprised if it centered on Jon Snow. Out of everyone, the finale of the show hurt his character the most and it just felt like his story wasn't finished with yet.

Maybe take the original idea for the Jon Snow show and retrofit it into the movie. Have Jon living with the wildlings beyond the wall, sad and depressed, when all of a sudden the Night King (or some other monster) rises up beyond the wall. Then Jon has to spring back into action.

Initial knee jerk reaction is “no”, but I would be interested in a big budget epic about Robert’s Rebellion, heck even 2 or 3 movies. Probably won’t happen.

The impression I get online is GRRM is currently stuck because of where he's at writing it and he probably will never finish it. So the crappy ending we got from the TV series is the only ending we're going to get.
