Quote:
Bored by their usual nightlife activities, a group of swinging London twenty-somethings decide to get their kicks by partying in an abandoned ‘haunted’ house. But when one of their number is found murdered, the gang is dragged into a world of horror.

Starring Frankie Avalon (Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine) and the likes of Richard O’Sullivan (Dick Turpin) and George Sewell (The Vengeance of She), this spooky 60s romp is a stylish tale of murder and secrets served up in Carnaby Street fashions and liberally splattered in blood.

Same, though 88's yellow slipcovers are so good that they make me want to double dip.

It's the same audio. 88 Films said they weren't able to do anything about the audio.

They should sell the slipcover separately for three or four quid so we can put it over our Screenbound releases.

Same with all of them actually.

I’m interested to know if they are going to do The Creeping Flesh, one of the better Tigon titles. I saw somewhere there are rights (or maybe distribution) issues which means 88 won’t be able to.

He's called Kevin Francis (son of Freddie) and he wants a million for it

Did Tigon make The Creeping Flesh or just distribute it, though? Rights might be available, didn’t it come out from DD in the DVD days? Agree, very good film.

Kevin Francis’s other films seem non-negotiable but his company was Tyburn.

Kevin Francis currently in the middle of suing Disney/Lucas for using the image of Peter Cushing which Francis says he owns.

The production company was an outfit called World Film Services, with distribution by Tigon in the UK and Columbia in the US.

Mill Creek put the film out on blu ray in 2017 as part of its Psycho Circus 3 movie set.

Previously it was on DVD courtesy of DD as you say.

The DD release rapidly disappeared due to a 'cease and desist' from you know who.

I wonder where he gets the money from for all these lawsuits?

Not from licensing the films, that's for sure.

Which is a bit ridiculous, every cast member of the Star Wars films and to sign away their likeness so Lucas could use them on toys if he wanted to. I'm not sure what Francis thinks he can win here, unless Disney have lost the paperwork he doesn't really have a leg to stand on.

Kevin Francis' behaviour over the years is nothing short of absurd. Does he never want anyone to see films made by his company or what? Glad that I picked up the Psycho Circus BD for Creeping Flesh.

I gave the Mill Creek a spin tonight, the image for The Creeping Flesh is pretty decent. I suspect that even if it does ever get released by anyone else, it probably won’t look much different.
