This one hit hard. I've watched so many of his films so many times. "Candyman" still ranks as one of my all-time favorite horror movies. R.I.P. to a true legend.

This is truly sad; I was fortunate enough to meet him at a Dallas-area convention several years ago. He signed a picture from The Crow for me, and we snapped this photo together. I also mentioned his one-shot appearance on Smallville, referring to his character as a "meteor freak"...and after I explained that was the show's term rather than mine, he got a kick out of it.

I've always loved Tony Todd in The Rock. He's a very effective villain in that film. Will probably give that a watch tomorrow in honor of him. RIP
