Default Movie Programming Game

here's a new but simple concept that could easily crash and burn, but here goes..

Let's program features for our ideal repertory theater, or better yet, 24-hour awesome movie channel. Would rather not get bogged down with too many rules, just want to keep it light and fun and focus on movies we discover and like.

Just choose any 4 films and try to tie them together with some sort of theme and maybe a small bit of info (not necessary, but might be fun to give some context or a springboard to discuss films).

here's something to start with...

Film 1 - Laura (1944, Otto Preminger)

2 - Rope (1948, Alfred Hitchcock)

3 - The Panic in Needle Park (1971, Jerry Schatzberg)

4 - The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974, Joseph Sargent)

Vaguely Defined Theme: New York-Style Noir

let's see if this has any legs....Next!

(Thank you and Cheers!)
