Yeah I highly doubt we’re getting anything new.

I hate the 4k digipack packaging. Not sure why they didn’t give us a nice outer slipbox.

Yeah it’s very odd. But probably still preferable over what appears to be stacked discs with this steelbook.

I recall getting the 4K digipak at Best Buy for $9.99. I like it just fine for that price, although I agree about hating that cheap flimsy slipbox. The previous Final Cut steelbook (the red one) is much nicer. That and the digipak are good enough for me.

I have the older Zavvi steelbook with the famous "helicopters over sunrise" art, so I bought the original 4k digipak, with only placing the discs that I needed in the trays. But I hate having the set split up and having to use the digipak anyway.

I'm going to get this. I know the stacked discs aren't ideal, but at least everything is together and in a slimmer package. I can sell off the digipak, and put my 3 disc dvd set of the workprint in the old steelbook now, especially since the famous poster art of the helicopters flying past the rising sun is a shot that's only in the workprint!

Ain’t that the truth. The House of the Dragon Steelbook took the record with 4 discs stacked on each side.

I wonder if they're making money off the disc replacements on the back end.

I realize 6-8 is pushing it for a standard case, but there's got to be a way to make it work.

If it's 4K that has to cut down on the disc number, and make more hubs possible.

See picture above.
It looks like the each have their own hubs, and they are staggered and not stacked.
(Looks kinda of like the 4 disc sets where they each have their own hub. This is the first time ever seeing them attenpt 3 hubs (on each side) staggered)
