Default Black Christmas (1974): 50th Anniversary

AMC is showing this (one of the first holiday horror/teen slasher movies) on Thursday December 12 and Sunday December 15. I'll be seeing it on Sunday as the second part of a double feature with White Christmas (1954)! LOL

Caught this tonight. It was the 4K restoration from Scream Factory, with intro from Eli Roth, and it was glorious.

As one of my all-time favorites, I always dreamed of seeing this in theater and still can’t believe it actually happened!

That's great, I can't wait to see it! It's a shame that this isn't getting much promotion. It's not listed on the Now Playing or Coming Soon sections of the AMC website or app and it's not listed on Fandango.

The wife and I watch it every Christmas - it's a festive favourite. Nothing typifies that time of year than a frosty Toronto.

When December 1st rolls around, out come the themed tea containers...

It was playing last week at Cinemark. Wanted to go, just didn’t want to spend 15 bucks, so I watched the blu ray at home.

Watched this on Sunday. It was great! I enjoyed the introduction with the guy from AGFA and the other one with Eli Roth which had great insight! I was mad because I had to use the bathroom in the middle of it. Good thing I've seen it before.

There’s so much novelty to seeing it in theaters versus seeing it at home.
