Germany Pidax Film discussion thread

Somewhere down the line I was eventually going to get Via Vision's complete series DVD release of the mid-nineties version of Nancy Drew. However..what has thrown a spanner in the works is finding (from looking at the Coming Soon DVD section on Amazon UK) that German label Pidax is releasing the same series on DVD, in addition to the mid-nineties TV series version of The Hardy Boys (both on Thursday 10th April (subject to change).

Over on Amazon.de, having done a label search, I discovered that last month (on Thursday 12th December) Pidax released TV series T and T and Tucker's Witch on DVD.

Next Thursday (23rd January), they're releasing a complete series DVD set of the late eighties Mission: Impossible revival.

Germany Yellowthread Street, Philip Marlowe, Private Eye and Call to Danger

While checking Amazon.de for another television series title, following doing a search for Pidax titles I found the following three titles:

Yellowthread Street (out today (Thursday 24th July)
Philip Marlowe, Private Eye (starring Powers Boothe)
and the Peter Graves-starring TV pilot Call to Danger (the early-seventies version (released three weeks ago).

Below are the DVD listing page links for Yellowthread Street and Call to Danger, followed by the front cover artwork:

I did spot the two Philip Marlowe, Private Eye DVD volumes earlier, but not at the time of putting this post together (pre-order titles are not available to order if you're in the UK for example, until on or after the German release date).

Wish that First Wave would get a 2nd and 3rd season via Pidax. But I think this is wishful thinking on my part.
