Hey guys, I didn't see a thread for this outside of the one for Limited Run Games. Was thinking it'd be nice to have a thread to dump sightings for new physical releases from various retailers.

Related, Neva (also from Nomada Studio) appears to have its physical release delayed to the same 4/18/25 (previously 3/14)

There was a very limited release disc version on PS5 for the new December 2024 remasters of Soul Reaver 1 and 2, through Limited Run games, but the tragedy of their company is they claim they're fair to everyone who wants the game before the February 2025 deadline, but within the very first day I was alerted to the game in early January, it was sold out already for PS5 and never reset for the pre-orders.

Worst of all, they allow any reseller to buy as many quantities as they want with no limit per order. I never ordered anything from Limited Run games and will never attempt to again. Terrible service to shut off a pre-order before the deadline while allowing no limit per order.

"PLEASE NOTE: There is no purchase limit on this item. This item is currently in manufacturing and artwork is subject to change." - Limited Run Games

If there is no purchase limit, then take unlimited orders to fulfill when the pre-order closes February 6, 2025. It started January 6th, 2025 and was sold out probably in minutes. Total BS.

Yeah, that was a load of nonsense on LRG's part. I'm hoping there is a standard retail-wide release like what happened with the Tomb Raider collection. Also keep an eye on VGP, they are a good Canadian game retailer that often gets in stock of LRG games and sells them at honest prices.

Yeah, if they made it a wide release on disc like Tomb Raider remastered, that would be much better. I don't know why they gave it to LRGames...

Always a wonderful resource. The only game we know for sure won't work off of disc in that March line-up is Assassin's Creed Shadows. It has a printed warning on the cover, just like Ubisoft did with Avatar and Star Wars Outlaws. The majority of single player games should work off of disc though still.

Indeed is. Sometimes, I don't get having discs for certain games... Wouldn't it be cheaper to just have the box but with a paper with a key instead of a disc?

Yeah, I know what you mean. At least you can still sell the disc if you want to, wouldn't be able to do that with the redemption code route. Some games have done that already. I think some versions of Fallout 76 came with a paper disc in the box.
