I am watching a plenty of movies using my laser TV (Formovie Theater) and 80" fresnel screen. Near to SDR, it is cappable of HDR10 and Dolby Vision.
Some of the reviews praise the PQ (Do not look back 4K Studiocanal UK or Stand by me 4k UK disc or Christine 4K). Unfortunately, on my system it looks really bad (heavy grain, clipping of white surfaces), colors are flat and quite often the screen waxy (stand by me). Most of movies looks prisitne and as they should. I think the PQ quality depends very much on Screen size and kind of display. Would it be possible to add near reviews information about screen size used and what kind of display? Similar we could use fo sound. What kind of system does the review is using. |
