Hello, a bit of a different topic but hoping some of you can help me out.
I am moving my collection out of storage boxes, and getting them into my house soon. I want to make sure they are covered in my home insurance, do I need to do anything special to ensure this or inform the insurance companies, or will it be standard home insurance (contents). Am I supposed to keep a full list of purchases, of course my collection is many years old, and I won't have receipts etc for the bulk of my collection. Or maybe photos are sufficient. I don't have as many as some here (maybe 1000 or less), but it has enough valuable to insure in my opinion so it is worth it to make sure they are covered in case of some terrible event. Also does anyone know how to price if you needed to claim, of course some sets may be OOP and the value of them could be at least Ł100 for one title compared to others that might be less. And limited editions as well can be worth sometimes 2-5x the price of standard. Just a thought! |
