Shop.app Deals Thread - Blu-ray Forum

So today, I was on the Shop.app website, and noticed I had an offer for $15 off from Vinegar Syndrome. Long story short, I was able to get the Congo 4K limited edition for $40 (tax and shipping included).

Thought I would bring this to everyone's attention. Not sure if it was just a special offer for me, or if other people have this offer too. Either way, I might have to visit this site more often.

I also noticed if I locate the Scream Factory page on the Shop website, and add the titles from the current sale to my cart, I get the same discounts as screamfactory's official site.

Hopefully this helps some. And hopefully they continue to do things like this, and we can share the info with one another.

I am wondering if you have to have some credits to get certain deals. I am not sure what happened, but it seems like some of my credits disappeared after I got the $15.00, but not enough that makes sense. It's like they took $4.00 off of my credits in order to give me the $15.00 off of VS.

Never been to the site before today. Only went because they sent me an email saying I have some credits I could use.

Possibly. I have $0.19 credit in my shop app, and I have an offer only at the Vinegar Syndrome shop to get $10 off a $25 purchase when you use your Shop credit. No other storefront that I checked (Shout, Powerhouse, Radiance, Severin, Atomic, etc.) have an offer.

I didn't have the Vinegar Syndrome deal but came across a record store called Volver Records on there offering $20 off a $60 purchase and they had a bunch of Criterion titles (presumably used because they were mostly under $20; cheap enough to take a risk that they might be in less than stellar condition).

It used my $2.56 in shop cash to give me the $20 off. However that works.

I'm sure this is completely random/targeted but I just got a $5 shop credit to use at any store. This is like the 2nd or 3rd time since having the app (installed late last year) that I've been given a $5 credit.

I just got one today too, through the app. I have only had the app installed for about a week so far. I ended up making a non-movie related purchase because of the special offer I received through using the app. Glad I found out about it.

I got the $5 credit too. Suxks it expires on March 8. May use it on the the Shout Selects sale but not sure....

I got a notification about it. There's a little bell in the top right corner of the app that will also show it if you have anything.

Didn't realize it expires so soon. Might do the same as you with the Select sale.

No offense taken. I had been wanting it for awhile because it's one of those pieces of media that holds a special place in my heart for the nostalgia it brings. My brother-in-law paid $55 for it, but I was having trouble taking the plunge. I don't think I will see it as low as $40 anytime soon.

At times it doesn't actually expire the date the $5 credit states, keep an eye out in case you forget about it

Completely YMMV but I got a $15 off $25 offer for Vinegar Syndrome. I was also just given a $5 Shop credit for the app in general, so I was able to stack both of those with the current Partner Label sale to get Red Peony Gambler 3-Film set for $16 after shipping and taxes.

I should also mention that the VS coupon showed as just as a $10 offer on the main Shop page, but when I went directly to the store, it showed as $15 off $25.
