So they are streaming the DVD transfer from 2006?

I just did a Despecialized Edition run recently, rare btw

It’s probably an app where people upload all kinds of things from all kinds of sources. I’ve found movies on things like Tubi that are tape rips when I know that can’t be the official source provided by a studio.

Yeah a lot those free Roku apps just rip a lot of DVDs and Blu-rays and upload them for free. I’ve checked out several horror apps on Roku that are like that.

Wish that page specified if it was the 2006 DVD, Despecialized, 4KXX, etc.

Definitely not the 2006 DVD. First off it’s in 16x9, definitely not the GOUT color grading, and the sound mix is definitely not the GOUT. Looks too clean to be 4K77 (granted it’s a rather pixilated viewing anyways) so putting my money on that it’s DeSpecialized.
