This 4k release is a release too late. The whole movie is available as a season on Cruncyroll/Netflix.
Also, as per description, the movie only has Japanese subs and the English subs from the JP blu ray have not been ported over. |

And the Blurays have also been available for a while. What's your point? Every show is available to stream first before the discs come out.

The point is, it would have been nicer to have the 4k option back in 2021 rather than in 2025. Also, if it’s confirmed that the 4k release only got the Japanese subs, then that’s a soft region locking and probably we’ll see more 4k releases elsewhere in the world. Crunchyroll is another culprit. They released Suzume in dvd/blu ray and still holding out on 4k release. Only way of getting Suzume is from Japan/Korea/Hong Kong. |
