Looks great, I wish the SMT Nocturne remaster got this kind of love. If/when we get DDS1+2 remasters I hope it gets this kind of love.

ps2 era atlus/megaten was the best. though i prefer the sequel, soulless army is cool and i'll pick it up for pc whenever it comes out

I had the collectors edition of the sequel sealed in my gaming room for ages! I’m looking forward to the remaster so I can actually play this series for the first time.

Is there a reason why they apparently changed the name of the game from the original? I didn't even realize this was Devil Summoner until Googling it.

It is in one of the earlier videos, something to the effect they say that most parts of the world outside Japan just called this game(and it's sequel) "Raidou". As for if that is the real reason, who knows, though I was thinking maybe the real problem was the name "Devil Summoner".

A 76 in Metacritic. About what I would have expected - a good game, but nothing spectacular. Very close to what the original PS2 version scored.

I think game reviews can be useful for at least the technical aspect. To find out about things like resolution, frame rate, how performance compares across different platforms and such.
