Thought Catherine O'Hara was one of the FEW bright spots of the 2nd one and they wrote her out. Maybe if they go into this one with about 30 less plot lines, it'll be ok?

I've been having a rough week, so seeing this news is making me feel a bit better. I had so much fun watching Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in the theater that I will be back in my seat for this one!

She could easily come back as a ghost. (There are no rules to this.)

Justin Theroux was my favorite of the new cast members, but it wouldn't make sense to bring him back.

Justin Theroux’s character could be a ghost now and return alongside Bellucci because when know ghosts aren’t gone forever after being eaten by a Sandworm. (Unless Betelgeuse is just different which he seems to be in every other regard.)

The second movie also makes reference to Lydia’s biological mother still being alive. Perfect opportunity for a third movie to further explore her bloodline and possibly where she gets her psychic abilities outside of being strange and unusual.

Maybe we’ll also get an explanation as to how Beetlejuice was able to get his head to grow back to its original size after getting shrunk at the end of the first movie

I’m all for another Beetlejuice, but hopefully they handle the different storylines better this time. There were too many characters in the second film, even though I liked them all. Hope they find the right balance. I had a good time, so a third is welcome.
