I'm starting this thread to keep a list of media with no subtitles. Companies need to realise this is an issue of accessibility for many people. Deaf people rely on subtitles to access media but it is not only them. Many people use subtitles to be able to watch.

I will keep the list updated if anyone has any additions.

Madman's release of What We Do In The Shadows is a culprit, including the anniversary rerelease. Which is odd since I think the US release does have them (not sure about the recent UK 101 Films release though)

The Angels' Share was the worst of them all. Half the dialog is incomprehensible due to thick Scottish accents.

I have Unhinged on iTunes and it does have subtitles!

Yes, so many past releases. They were certainly major offenders although I feel like recently Umbrella has been trying much harder.

I'm trying to decide if we should include past releases or just new ones.

Via Vision put out an email the other day with all the upcoming discs and many did not include subtitles. The question is will they update the listings later
like they have just done with Gettin' Square but have yet to do with Spit.

I agree. Some Scottish and Irish films really need them.

Which release exactly does not have subtitles? The one I looked up on here says it does but that could be wrong.

It is astonishing they don't even get them when they are available.

How hard can it be to AI generate them and then have a human edit them for quality control?

Those specs are obviously just copied from the back cover, which is incorrect. It also has Dolby TrueHD audio on the disc, not DTS-HD as listed there. Plus it's a BD-25 not BD-50, so whoever did those specs really botched it on multiple levels
