Paramount will be releasing Better Off Dead (1985) on 4K on August 5th!

I figured. I just got the 4K digital copy on VUDU recently(and sold my Blu-ray) and the physical release from Paramount usually follows shortly thereafter.

Wow, there really is no rhyme or reason to which titles they release themselves and which they license out. This screams Kino Lorber to me. Well, I’ll be glad to have it regardless!

I personally believe it should be with Arrow or Vinegar Syndrome, but that’s just me.

Was hoping this would’ve been sent out via a boutique, but this makes sense considering it just got upgraded to 4K on VOD services the other week.

I bought the steelbook with the Drew Struzan artwork some years back, so I'll just put putting the 4K disc in that.
