It's a decent sequel, but not as shocking, gory, or nihilistic as the first "Mark of the Devil". Having said that, the screenshots on Turbine's site look absolutely gorgeous( a huge leap in quality over every previous release) and I'll probably pick it up.

Seems like "dull" is a common word associated with the movie, the only curiousity being that it was associated with its much better predecessor

Now that there’s a 4K master, I’m banking on Vinegar Syndrome releasing it here in the US at some point soon, as they did with the original, in a nice hard box and slipcover. I’ll pass on these media books. They’re nice and all, but I really don’t like the size; tall like a DVD case.

MARK OF THE DEVIL 2 is neither a sequel nor a prequel. Just another movie about witchhunt in Germany.
