Search Digital and Disc Collections Together?

Hello all - is there a way to conduct full collection searches (i.e. include one’s digital purchases along with disc purchases)?

I often point people to the ‘Complete collection’ link to see absolutely everything I own (4K, BD, iTunes, other digital, DVD); however, if I ever want to show people results from, for example, a single genre, the ‘Search collection’ results are limited to one format (high definition disc alone, iTunes alone, DVD alone, etc.). Am I missing something? Is there a workaround? Is this a feature to request of developers?
