Amazon UK have an audio commentary and deleted scenes down as extras.

However, as EIV have gone the cheap route and are no longer issuing combo packs, expect this to be barebones and the extras on the BD version only ala Better Man and Babygirl.

Twats.

Worth reading that Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entert...m_Distributors

I'd love to see a documentary on the family that run it. They funded the disaster that was Gary Kurtz's Slipstream and even invested in tidying up Highlander 2 for a UK release.

Would be a great documentary if Jon Spira is reading!

I'm more than amazed that this outfit has somehow still clinged to business. Even back in VHS days they were a ropey fly-by-night outfit who used the worst quality tapes. It's hardly surprising that their BDs are amongst the ones well known for disc rot.
They were pretty much kept afloat for years by their deal with New Line, how they've managed since is beyond me.
During the waning days of movie rental they were still asking huge prices in the £80 range for their rental tapes, whereas other companies by then were charging rental stores around £25-£30 on average for theirs.

That Death of a Unicorn cover can’t be final, it doesn’t have a dozen star ratings and pull quotes on it.

Ironically, their 4K transfers have been very decent.

But yeah, plenty of awful DVD transfers back in the day.

If you say "Entertainment in Video", my mind instantly goes to either Day of the Dead or Re-Animator".

Yep, their tapes were really crap, and reproduction standards sloppy. On that note, I give you...

Scotch was the best, as that Skeleton used to say, “Re-record not fade away!

Always taped films with short play though where possible!

I used the Long Play function to record so much, my VCR got stuck in it. I had to buy a new machine to watch any of my other tapes!

The old one ended up being the world's most expensive digital clock.

SP for films, LP for everything else!

My player was one of those top loaders built like a tank, used to give everyone a shock when it shot up!

One of the Etsy sellers did a custom action figure of the Scotch Skeleton a few years ago, on a blister card that looked like a Scotch videotape. I found out about it too late, otherwise I'd have had one like a shot.

Never had an LP recorder. In fact, ours couldn't even play LP.

We had one of those when I was a kid.

My dad always said I worked it to death.

Yep, that’s the one. Getting flashbacks!

Aside from all the great films we rented, I used to sneak down and record some ‘arty’ films on C4 if you catch my drift.

My main nostalgic memories of EIV was their releases of the TEEN WOLF cartoon in the late 80s, all of which had one solitary trailer on them...
