Default How many current Blu Ray players have Ethernet?

Is the PS3 the only current blu ray player with a ethernet connection? Do any have any sort of internet connection?

The PS3 is the only current player capable of Profile 2.0.

I can only answer your question as it pertains to the BD-P94HD and that answer is "no". This feature allows the user to connect the player to one or more computers via Ethernet and use them as media servers, streaming audio, video and still images for playback on their TV and/or audio system.

The PS3 is the only HD player, period, with Ethernet and WiFi for the purpose of online internet features, but I think a Chinese player is suppose to have both in the future (like within 6 months or so).

The Samsung BD-P1200 has ethernet for firmware updates, but will never be 2.0 compliant.

Aside from needing the ethernet port for BD 2.0, the player needs certain chips to handle the demands of profile 2. By this time next year I would imagine every new BD player sold will be 2.0 enabled. But at the moment the PS3 is the only player released that is capable of 2.0.
