So I decided to start tracking the prices of my purchases after finding I don’t know them for a bunch of stuff I now wanna sell (Amazon’s opaque invoicing especially unhelpful here). Found my oldest order, about 40 items, entered the retailer (HMV) and the price (£7.19) in the ‘Price’ field not the comment.
Go back to them now, its disappeared. But if I enter the price in the ‘Comment’ field instead it remains So unless I’m misunderstanding the purpose of said ‘Price’ field somehow, its broken? p.s. While I’m here how would one add a retailer to the drop-down list? I can see three I use often that aren’t included just off the top of my head: Brown’s Books, Hit, and Planet of Entertainment EDIT I know realise it appears to be not saving because I entered a currency symbol. Still seems not right |

Correct. Don't add the dollars/pounds etc sign to the price when entering to have them saved. I had the same problem as you when I first started entering prices for all my purchased titles. I found when entering prices they had to be in the format outlined in the examples below. For example: $27.35 entered as 27.35 $10.00 entered as 10 $15.50 entered as 15.5 £7.19 entered as 7.19 $0.50 entered as 0.5 Last edited by g12345567; 06-11-2025 at 05:31 AM. |
