sad to agree since the 1st was fun, but this one seemed unsure of its motivation, what to do with it's actors, just confused about the story it wanted to tell and the demographic it wanted to show it too, but i like that steelbook..

Steelbook looks stunning. Definitely going to pick this up. Saw it last night at the drive-in and loved the change in tone. You can't replicate that first flick and I'm really glad they trusted their audience and didn't try. Though releasing it during such a thick theatrical schedule seems like a dicey choice at best.

I read an article saying this failed and one of the reasons is it became more sci-fi than horror. Makes me want to see it more now.
