Really strange that they ditched the UHD of the German Cut rather than giving you both cuts in 4K and just picking one of them for a BD. But I got the massive book edition already anyway, so I'm good. OTOH, this will be a great release for those who already have the previously-released standalone UHD of the German Cut, as it'll give you pretty much everything but the doc, which can also be had on its own.

Imprint's steelbook re-release drops the German UHD, and this italian 4K also drops the German UHD, that's kind of a pity, getting the vibe future releases in other countries might skip the german UHD altogether

Interesting that Atreyu has the green-teal hue on the cover. In the book as well as the animated show, his skin was that green-teal color instead of white like he was in the movies. Wonder if that was intentional.

Also funny that the Empress is front and center when she doesn't appear until at least 75 minutes into the movie.

It's an issue baked into the 4K master of the German cut, the fades are also missing on the German 4K disc which Imprint was apparently unaware of, so they just simply weren't fixed.

I’m hoping WB will let Arrow have the rights! Especially as they have a good relationship and I can imagine Arrow putting the effort in more than WB to include both cuts, tons of special features, large book/poster/cards etc.

Unsure, I was only informed of the German cut, but it's possible they were specific moments unique to the German cut. The earlier German 4K disc was missing them too.
