I like that artwork. I'm guessing there won't be a UK release for this as Second Sight seem to have the rights here, and they don't do steelbooks. Lionsgate don't ship internationally either. Bummer.

But I am not a fan of the $100 minimum to get free shipping or how LG charges upfront rather than when it ships, even if you use a credit card.

Yeah, unfortunately that seems to be the case.

If you order one steelbook, standard shipping is about $8 in addition to the item cost.

I hope there is a decent amount of It Follows and it sticks around long enough.

I dont see It Follows selling out. I dont think the demand is too high for it. I'm surprised Kill Bill Vol 2 is still in stock.

To be fair, given the amount of bubblewrap they use in a box with just one steel there's probably at least $5 worth of bubblewrap.

They must have bubblewrap up the wazoo. No wonder when I got my order from them it took me an hour to unwrap my steelbooks. And the bubblewrap gave off a funky smell too.

I just ended up sticking the Second Sight 4K disc (with direct participation with David Robert Mitchell) in the bloody pool KimChiDVD Lenticular Steelbook.






I was lowkey hoping the U.S. release would be better, but it's not as great as the version I "made". I'm not a fan of drawn artwork on steelbooks unless it "looks" right (like Apocalypse Now). The artwork for this looks like someone spray painted it on a shirt at a mall kiosk.



But at least this finally got a 4K stateside!
