Is Last Summer going to be released? It was said to be in the works some years back. Thanks.

Work has begun on Last Summer restoration. They've been trying to release it on DVD since 2010, but run into some issues that has been resolved only recently.
Special thanks to Areyakiddin and Ashirg to announcing it in the WAC thread, and BobSimms for bringing it to my attention.

Edited to add: Now that I’ve caught my breath: would someone please start a thread for Last Summer and its imminent release? This is major news for fans of “lost films”. There is also a restored vintage TV spot available on YouTube for embedding. This is the exact verbiage from Warner Classics on Facebook, in the comments under a post about their just announced Blu-ray of 7 Women:

Release submitted to mods for approval. All info provided by me.

I put it as three cuts (X, 97; R, 95; PG, ??), listed the runtime as 97-minutes, listed the disc as a Blu-ray with DTS-HDMA 2.0 mono sound.

Dumb me forgot to set one BD-50, so if the mods see this, help me out please. (Seamless branching means they could easily do three cuts on one BD-50 without effing the encode.)

I also set the release date as December 31, 2026. Obviously this is a placeholder for the real date, which we don't currently know.
