Have done a thread search and there is no existing discussion thread in DVD Movies for The Untouchables (to save any confusion, have stated in the thread title "the Robert Stack series". There has been some discussion in the VEI thread for the nineties version).
Below is the thumbnail artwork in the database for the Canadian, US and UK DVD releases of the late-fifties to early-sixties television series: Canada: [Show spoiler] US: [Show spoiler] UK: [Show spoiler]

Also in the database is a US DVD release of The Scarface Mob, the pilot film that was followed by the television series (the pilot was included in one of the Season 1 DVD volumes):
![]() Boutique label Arrow Video released The Scarface Mob on Blu-ray in the States and Canada over a year ago: ![]() ![]() Watched Arrow's Blu-ray release earlier this year. It kept my interest throughout. Very good on the whole (going to start watching the television series soon or when autumn/fall starts). |

I have the individual UK dvd sets of season 1, 2 and 3.
Season 4 was never released individually in the UK, only as part of the complete series set (which I didn't buy because I already owned 75% of it and it was too expensive for just adding the final season to my collection). I have recently completed a rewatch of The Invaders and was looking to decide my next Quinn Martin rewatch and I think this will be it. I don't remember much of this show, but seem to think the episodes didn't have the variety of The Fugitive or The Invaders. I do remember Robert Stack's performance being very good and the other "Untouchables" supporting cast being good also. Frank Nitty was supposed to be killed off, but the actor portraying him did it so well, and the episode was so popular, that he ended up reappearing a number of times throughout the series. I will probably start my rewatch in September sometime. |
