Surprised no one has crated a thread for this game here... I already beat both of them back in the day on the PS1, and more recently on the Switch... but I went ahead and bought the PS5 version because I plan on playing them both again next year and trying to get all 108 stars in both games. I thought playing it on my TV would make it look worse than the smaller OLED Switch screen, but it does look noticeably better on the big screen.
But anyway, if you are into classic RPGs then both of these game for $30 is a STEAL, especially Suikoden 2, which is still one of the greatest games of all time, IMO. |

As for looking better/worse on a TV vs. the Switch screen, it does of course help that the PS5 version runs at a higher resolution and frame rate than its Switch counterpart, so it's going to look better regardless of what size of screen you play on. ![]() It just so happens that the Switch and PS5 versions are the ones I'm trying to decide between. The former runs fine and has the comfy portability factor in its favor, while the latter gives me that sweet 4K and 60fps. |
