Odd they are including I, Emmanuelle (made 2 years after the Emmanuelle novel was published) considering it is based on the short story Disintegrazione '68 by Graziella Di Prospero who co-wrote the screenplay with the director.

I think it capitalized off the success of the novel, which is a very loose connection. It is a good film, and one I was asking Mondo Macabro about a few months ago, but I admit it is an odd choice considering a few more of the Sylvia films would have fit in much better.

Still, very cool to get upgraded from DVD straight to 4K.

Sylvia Kristel is the main character. Though, Gemser appears in Emmanuelle 2.
