Love the look of both steelbooks. Only issue for me is they’re announcing this so close to the release date. Both of these are probably going to be $45-50 each and with so little time before release, there probably won’t be any price drops whenever this goes up for pre-order.

I used to appreciate those Kino announcements way ahead of time until they started canceling titles (meaning they were clearly announcing them wayyyy too early).

But I gotta say, these sudden Disney announcements? I absolutely dig them. Announced today and available in two weeks. Great stuff!

I just prefer pre-ordering my stuff on Amazon a couple months before release. It helps me budget easier knowing what I’m spending each week or month..etc. Plus, it leaves room for price drops if any

I want both, but I can't even afford Steelbooks anymore with the ridiculous prices. It's Disney's fault, they set the precedent with the Deadpool & Wolverine Steelbook prices, and then the 3rd round of Disney+ shows, with no regular Blu-Ray options. I haven't even added Captain America: Brave New World or Thunderbolts to my collection yet, and never pre-ordered Superman either, and Superhero movies are usually my #1 purchase first.

Definitely in for the OG, wasn't a big fan of Legacy. The Tron ride at Disney was cool though.

First movie was like video game crazy, the second was all sleek and hot with the music and chicks and ending in the real world. Must get both day 1.

I am interested, but I hate how Disney has started to announce new releases just 2 weeks before the release day.

It's a bad habit of theirs lately.

The same thing happened with Master and Commander, but that was 3 weeks, I think.

Get rid of the pre-order model, period. It would be all-around better for consumers.

I disagree about that being "better" for the consumers.

How would it be better for consumers if they have no heads-up about a release, they cannot plan their spending ahead of time, they have to suddenly drop money on unexpected releases last minute, and said releases just suddenly drop out of nowhere and sell out quickly?
