Is it just me or does everything releasing lately seem to all look the same?

The demo had issues, but it was still fun. I might pick this up if it gets a physical release.

In fairness, when certain art styles for games seem to do really well then another dev might jump on it for a while too. Sometimes it's also just a coincidence in terms of the art style giving them a better performance to story/graphics ability too.

That said, if the developers are based in Asia, then I noticed that group usually tend to lean towards certain art styles and Western studios to another based on cultural preferences in beauty standards but also sometimes as a diversity thing which seems more prevalent as an attempt to include a lot of different groups into the media.

I mean if you asked me to tell the difference between this, Directive 8020 and Pragmata without looking them up I couldn't.

Same with The First Descendant, Lost Soul Aside and Code Violet.

This isn't a PS5 thing, it's an industry wide thing that I see at every event. It's always "oh that looks familiar, didn't we already see this?" and then I realize we didn't but it's a new game that triggers an already seen game from my mind.
