Default Villains who died by acts of God or fate (SPOILERS)

Oftentimes, when the villain in a movie is killed, that villain is intentionally killed in self-defense or in revenge or in a government-sanctioned execution. But there are instances where a movie villain dies by an act of God or an act of fate. That is what this thread will focus on.

Here are some movies where the movie's villain was killed by an act of God or fate:

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937)

[Show spoiler]When the Evil Queen (disguised as a witch) gets Snow White to bite into the poison apple, and Snow White dies, she is seen and chased up of a cliff by the Seven Dwarfs. At the top of a cliff with nowhere left to run, the Evil Queen decides to use a large branch to set a boulder rolling and crush the Seven Dwarfs. This scheme fails because a bolt of lightning strikes right between the Evil Queen and the boulder, causing the Evil Queen to fall to her death and the boulder to fall on top of her.

"The Bad Seed" (1956)

[Show spoiler]Having murdered three people in cold blood, including an old lady, a little boy, and groundskeeper Leroy, eight-year-old Rhoda Penmark sneaks out in the middle of a stormy night. She heads to the pond where she killed the little boy, using a fishing net to find the metal heels of the shoes she used to kill the little boy, only to get killed when she is hit by lightning.

"Rollercoaster" (1977)

[Show spoiler]This movie's villain is a terrorist who sabotages roller coasters and other amusement park rides with explosives, killing their riders. When he attempts to set off a bomb on the Revolution at Magic Mountain, not only does he fail to detonate the bomb, he gets hit and killed by a coaster train full of riders.

Those are just three movie villains who died by acts of God or fate? Do you know of any others? If so, please share them. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Most Disney villains either fall off of a roof or cliff so the hero can win and not have blood on their hands.

Also, not all Disney villains die. Captain Hook lived. So did Cruella DeVille.

The only disappointing part of the movie to me. After all that over the course two, almost 3 hour long films just to have something mediocre like that happen. Made me groan out loud. Even the way Davian was killed in III wasn't that anti-climactic.
