I'm the right person to talk to because I got the same tv except mine is 32". The HDMI cable that's hooked up to my PS3 is installed into Input 5 on the Sharp. Option: You can also use Input 4 for HDMI as well. When you turn on your PS3, set your tv to Input 4 or 5 and you should see the PS menu. Then go to Settings, select display settings, select Video Output Settings, Select HDMI, Select Custom, and you'll see a checklist of resolutions, and finally check off every resolution

Let me guess, you just recently purchased your first 1080p HDTV and PS3, correct?

One of the bluray.com authorities asked me if Id like to be a mod.

No, no pay or benefits...just something to do on my own time that is fun.

Are you saying to check off every resolution but 1080p?

No, what I meant was select every resolution. You can also customize your audio settings too if you have surround sound or speakers.

I'm not familiar with the Super-White. Try it and see if it looks good or not and pick whichever one looks better

I know you did not ask about DVD upscaling, but set it to "Normal".

I think that Super-white only works on Sony tvs, but I might be wrong.
