Overlord: Raising Hell coming to PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

Codemasters revealed today that the Overlord series (previously only available on Xbox 360 and PC) is coming to the PS3 and is expected for release this Summer. The PS3 version will feature the full Xbox 360 Overlord game released last year, plus all of the downloadable content that has been released to date.

Woohoo! I've been holding off buying the 360 version on the cheap. I'll wait it out a little longer for this great news.

ill alot of the 360 owners are ticked off. the ps3 version will come with all the current dlc.

i got it for the pc as well. but, my crappy pc cant play it.

I just played through the demo that was released in the PS Store yesterday. I oddly enough enjoyed it. Its mostly a tutorial and then one quick level but overall I think it would be a good fun game.

Ill for sure rent it and if I can find a good deal Ill buy it. Nicely done.

PS: The only bad thing I could think of was the camera it doesnt stay behind you very well and is a pita to move properly.

+1, the camera is a bit of an annoyance, but I found humor in the gameplay.. I loved how the minions came running with the life force going "FOR YOU MASTER!!!!" offering it up to me... hahaha.. oh what lil bundles of joy.

I loved Overlord on 360. Good to see its coming to PS3, mainly because I want them to make a sequel. As far as 360 owners being "ticked off" that the DLC is coming to ps3, ...uh...what? Why would anyone be ticked off? The game came out almost a year ago and the DLC came out back in Jan, so why would anyone be ticked off?

Just played through the demo and liked it a lot. I'll pick it up in June when it comes out.

Haha, either that or someone complaining about how the game needs to install and be "like all the other PS3 games."

It was noticeable, but once you were in the meat of the gameplay it was negligible...

Agreed, I didn't like having to hold a trigger down to move the camera, but I suppose it might be possible to configure the controls so the right stick controls the camera and L1+right stick controls the sweeping.

I enjoyed the demo and will probably pick the game up as well.

This was a surprisingly good demo. I enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting to. I may pick it up next month; need to ask some of my 360-owning friends if the gameplay holds up as well as it seems.

before or during gameplay? if its during gameplay im sure that will be fixed on the final version and probably be one of those long waiting games to download. the gameplay is awesome and its so fun you can even torture people
