What happened to HighDefDigest? - Blu-ray Forum

It has been working now for a couple of hours. Looks the same, not changes from what I can tell. Not sure they went off line for a few days?

it works for awhile then it stops, over and over. Possibly server maintenance.

For whatever is worth, I was able to access the site for the first time today. Interesting bit about the Paramount rumors. Hopefully that situation will be clarified this week.

Looks like there are DNS issues and it is taking some time to propegate out. The current provider (soon to be former) is\was having issues earlier. If someone can post the IP address (dont have it at this location) it would probably give people access to the site.

ummm,

Just so you guys are aware. Not sure who runs that place, but it won't work unless you put a www in front of the highdefdigest part.

Hence: No linky on firefox or IE 7 with http://highdefdigest.com

but linky work with http://www.highdefdigest.com

Pretty simple stuff, you'd think someone running things would be aware of that. I figured it out since I hardly put in www for anyone anymore except for highdef

so always use the www, and it will work.

of course, works fine either way here.

I tried your second link, the one with the WWW. Still does not work for me, I keep getting the "server not found" message.

Jed(Site's Admin) said that their hosting company was moving servers over the weekend, they should be back to normal very soon...

It was only down for me for one night. Been up all day and forums are coming up ok.

But I just checked the forums for the first time since January when they all went more insane then normal.

hard to believe they still have bitter delusional people spouting hate and conspiracy theories left and right.

Kinda sad, I used to like that site and was hoping it would balance out the crazies after the war but it's just as bad as ever.

Found a fix for mac users. You can to clear your DNS. I made it even easier by resetting safari. But I would clear your cache for sure and then make sure all web browsers are closed. Then run this in terminal dscacheutil -flushcache

However to access their forums, which from what I have read they are having the most issues there, you have to enter in their IP address which is 208.115.104.158. You only have to enter this IP address one time and then you can surf their website as you normally would.

That will get highdefdigest to work. Enjoy.
