Recently purchased a Sharp Aquos 42"Lcd. Got the Sharp Aquos blue ray player as part of a promotion.
My concern is as follows (and please pardon my lack of technical knowlege/vocabulary): When I play Blu Ray movies on the blu ray player I can barely pick up dialogue when it's spoken (even with volume maxed). Sound effects seem to come through with consistent clarity, but I'm at a loss with the dialogue issue. In contrast, I put on Clapton's new Crossroad dvd (not blu ray) and the sound quality was very good, didn't need to turn it up more than half-way (and there is a bit of dialogue on this disc - came through crystal clear). ** Blu Ray player is connected to TV via HDMI** Curious if anyone out there might have experienced this / have any suggestions for resolution? Is this a decoding issue? Thanks for any thoughts |
