Default Selling off DVDs

I know I'm still a supporter of DVD, but I figure with Netflix, and buying Blu's, etc. I am getting closer and closer to selling my DVDs.... I thought about doing it as a "collection" in a one-shot deal, but I would probably lose a grand or so that way, so I have a question for the people who are set up to sell on ebay etc... ....what can I expect to get, on average, for my DVDs??? I was gonna do Half.com and just get all the packaging materials from the post-office, and ship them out as I sell them...... minus expenses, what can I expect, on average for each of my movies? (I have what I consider all good titles, but that's all relative) Some obviously will get more $$$ than others, but what can I expect (aside from my T.V. series' and box sets etc)

thanks,

I was going to start selling most of mine off to friends for $5 each. Some of mine I may have to give away if I want to get rid of them.

appreciate the suggestions, but I give things to friends, would never sell them anything, and I don't have any friends with DVD addictions that would want them rather than Blus.

wow.... looked up some prices..... ..... I'll have more DVDs than I'll ever need for those long car trips I guess...... Maybe I'll put them in a one big package, and see if I can get a hit from craigslist.... it doesn't hurt to try..... $4 each including all the box sets etc.... but it would have to be purchased together.... we'll see what happens. I figure with every episode of the twilight zone, Starsky and Hutch, Sopranos, Curb your Enthousiasm, etc.. maybe I'll pitch it as an oportunity for someone to resell them on ebay...... Since I can't do it, maybe someone else will think there is a profit to be had (or they can sell the ones they don't want to keep and have a marginal expense....)

Half.com is much easier than eBay.

Most movies I'll never replace with Blu anyway. I don't need a bluray of Can't Buy Me Love or some other such thing. I would like a anamorphic widescreen release of the above, however.

I'll probably never get most of my concert videos on Blu anyways, and I can't live without them! Tea Leaf Green was hard enough to find on DVD!
