Default Commando and Predator overpriced

Am I the only one who thinks that both Fox titles are way overpriced at $27.95??? C'mon those are catalog titles and should be $19.99 each!!
I know that Fox got some of the best looking / sounding BDs out there, but at that price I think I'll wait until they are cheaper, although I really want them!

As long as your expectations are not high for Predator you won't be too disappointed. I own the JP version, far from spectacular but a huge improvement over DVD. I'd say a 3/5 for PQ. I should have waited for the US release and saved me some money although I will agree $27.95 is a expensive for a catalog title like Predator.

What scene it that? I don't think I've ever heard about that... if it's a pretty graphics one then I've never seen it. In Germany they cut all that stuff out... therefore we got all the nudity, that I cannot get in the US now

Are Fox titles overpriced? Yes, they are imo. I am waiting for the titles to show up in sales.

Predator looks like many of the Action films in the '80 actually looked at the theaters, so i think we get a good transfer of exactly how the film looks. I prefer this to a massive cleanup process tbh.

Just after Arnie has cleared the room in the gorilla camp, you see a guy sneaking up on him and Arnie pulls out his knife, whips round and flings it at the dude and impales him into a wooden post and then delivers the immortal line "Stick Around".

This was cut out in a previous version of Predator, although I think it did come back when Fox did the 2 disc editions, but its so cool and cheesy. If its not in this Blu ray then its proper lame.

Anyone know if Commando has the cut shed scenes in there?

Where he throws the buzz saw blade and scalps one of the soldiers?

If you search on Youtube you can see all the cut bits, it was pretty graphic.

Here's the scene:

I paid £20 each for them way over priced they should of been about £12 each.I got them early from italy though but they wont be much of a difference when they come out in the uk theyll probably be £17 each.

They'll probably be between £23-£28. Watch Zavvi and HMV get their arm in.

No you can get them cheaper than that as amazon are doing it for £16.99 or something i realise some places do charge what youve said though and some probably even more.I dont understand why people pay extra for stuff like dvds and blu-rays id advise anyone to use something like kelkoo do a price check and save some money. Then again if youre rich saving £5 or so aint gonna bother you.

LOOOOL!!! That's a gift!

Be glad you don't have to be it over here - most BDs cost TWICE that amount in the UK ...
