I'll have to check that out, as they hold a strong place in my childhood memories as well. Never forget Saturday morning marathons and sloppy bowls of cereal. I was in my glory.

Now there's very few Saturday morning cartoons on the major networks. Lots of news shows.

Too bad for today's kids.

The good old days where waking up early on a Saturday morning was a good thing. She-Ra, Smurfs, Flintstones, Jetson's Bugs and friends and Scooby.
I would like to get on blu that special they had once The Jetson's meet the Flintstones and another one where Fred was like James Bond (can't remember the name)

Now they have stuff like "Bratz" damn that shit gives me nightmares.

Think they will ever release these kinds of old TV shows to BD but not in HD? What I mean is, do you think they will put the entire series of an old SD TV show on a Blu-ray so they can fit the whole thing on there?
I know physically it is possible. But will they ever do it?

If they won´t be in HD, you don´t need Blu-ray.

So I guess they will do it.

A complete Season 1 DVD box set comes out in the UK next month (about smurfing time as well!), and I've got mine pre-ordered. So many fond childhood memories... was my favourite show as a kid and probably still is my favourite cartoon today. I would have been ecstatic if it had come out on Blu-ray, but hey, I guess you can't have everything. As the show was printed on 35mm film it is possible to remaster it to HD, but I don't see it ever happening.

Which one?:
The Classic?
The one-hour guest-celebrity ones (although they had to cut the Addams Family and Sonny & Cher eps. for corporate reasons)?
The last-gasp "13 Ghosts" series where it was just Scooby and Shaggy?
Lord help us, the one with Scrappy-Doo? (Or how about Scooby-Dum, that nobody ever remembers?)

The answer is...yes.
