I would have thought that they are preparing for the introduction of the next gen TVs, (HDMI 1.3, 1440p?, and larger screen sizes).

On a side note, 100th post!!!!!one!!!!eleven1!!.

It's why I put a question mark after 1440p , I was unsure over whether it would be out by Q4 2007. All the others make sense though, I personally am hoping for lighter sets, putting up that TV (Sony 46"XBR2) was hard work.
