Default Recommendations for calibrating Sony 52xbr5

Hi,
I know there are probably many threads but I am pressed for time as I have company coming over today to watch the Resident Evil Trilogy. I just got the TV a couple of days ago and only had the opportunity to really turn it on for about 20 minutes yesterday. Factory settings aren't great and I would like to make an impression with the Blu set-up. Any suggestions on settings? Thanks!

Go to the "calibrate your HDTV" thread in the HDTV section of these forums, and use the "7669" easter egg on Sony Blu-ray movies.

I did and am in the process of burning the Avchd file to DVD now. Thank you. I was just wondering if someone had a couple of quick suggestions on settings before I spent an hour or so reading everything. Thanks again!

Thanks. I should have posted I have Directv HR20 HD and Sony Blu-ray S300. Both are connected HDMI into my STR-DA4300ES receiver with one HDMI to TV. I read since that is the case, I should toggle between customized "cinema" and "custom" settings for each viewing option.

Thanks man. I actually set it up with the same settings. At first, it seemed a little dark... but after watching a few minutes felt the pq was great. I'll probably leave it at this setting. Thanks again.
