Default gone in 60 seconds

just watched this movie after i received it in the mail today as my free movie for my rip off monster hdmi cable, and man was it awesom. PQ and AQ were top notch, this is what blu ray is supposed to look and sound like. I always thought this movie was just ok, but after watching it in high definition with uncompressed audio i am completely blown away

Welcome to the club. Every BD movie is like seeing it for the first time.

iv got plenty of blu rays, but i thought that this one was one of the best. Defiently surprised. There was a lack of bonus features, but this is understandable considering it was only a 25g disk, i dont really care for the extras anyway

The majority here feel the same way. Given a choice, we will take the best PQ and SQ over extras any day.

I have one question about Gone In 60 Seconds:
Is the Blu-Ray the director's cut or the theatrical cut.
One way to tell: the theatrical cut shows the scene where Memphis' brother is trying to make him breakfast (and doing a horrible job), and in the director's cut this scene is removed.

Theatrical only.

Uhhh... they didn't change any of the music in Gone In 60 Seconds. In the director's cut they looped parts of the score because they didn't have music for the extended sequences but that's it.

hmmm thats wierd, I swear I read it in a review somewhere. Nevermind, I found it, looks like they were referring to the Original Film from 1973. My Bad.

I also have the movie on BD and the reason I got it was indeed also the PQ/AQ. It really benefits the movie. I know it's not a high-flyer story-wise, but the PQ/AQ alone make me want to watch and rewatch it as brainless entertainment.

Amazon claims the Oct. 17th 2006 release on bluray is the director's cut. Does anyone have this copy of the movie? If so, is it the director's cut?
