Default HDDVD gone from Best Buy by 4-6-08

via employee news,

Quote:
All HD-DVD movies should be marked as 30 percent off starting today, March 4. Mosaic will place sign rails on each shelf in HD-DVD. An agreement has been worked out with vendors, so stores won't incur any loss of margin due to the discount. The 30 percent discount will be the only price reduction that will be taken on HD-DVD movies before they're removed from stores. More information on the removal of HD-DVD product will be provided in the next several weeks.
the Media council has also reported HDDVD's will be out of stores (pulled) by 4-6-08.

if you are into HDDVD, you should probably pick some up now because soon they'll be gone
