BD Layer? - Blu-ray Forum

Hello,

This is my first post, been a hi-fi enthusiast for years (nothing close to expert). In the last 2 months made the jump to HD audio & video. I have LOTS of questions!

First one might sound silly, but I have yet to see this written anywhere??

With all the data BD carries, are Blu-Ray disks layered? Or is that video pause a thing of the past. I have a few disks & I do not see it?

Yes

seamless layer changes are part of the spec. The disc buffer is big enough to get around it
