Default I think I finally got my parents to go Blu

I purchased an 46" XBR4 from Best Buy this weekend for $2500 this past Friday and showed my parents. They were blown away by the picture quality by just the regular HD Cable stations. Well I popped in POTC on Blu and they were even more amazed. Well on sunday they went and picked up a Samsung LN-T4061F and said they would probably go get a PS3 today. I am very proud of them for stepping out for the stone age from their CRT and DVD/VCR.

Excellent choice. I had intended on getting a 42" HDTV, but when I saw the 46" XBR I really couldn't say no. The 40" just looked too small to me.

But yes, fabulous TV, even if it was a pain in the arse to exchange the first set for mura issues...

I got my parents to go look at new TVs and they came home with a 27" that only does 720p... better than nothing I guess. Blu is the next step... they don't see spending even $200 on a player though
